Dr. Abbie Robinson-Armstrong, Vice President for Intercultural Affairs at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles is considered to be one of the leading experts on diversity in higher education, organizational development and change.
- In addition to her current position, she realized exceptional success while in leadership positions at Wright State University and University of Illinois. She held faculty positions at Seneca College, Centennial College, Durham College, and Sinclair Community College.
- Dr. Robinson-Armstrong earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education from the University of Toledo; a Master of Science from Indiana University, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Indianapolis
- She is author of 8 books, and over 20 abstracts, papers, and book chapters.
Dr. Robinson-Armstrong serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education (NADOHE). She serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Diversity in Higher Education, (as well as several other journals) and regularly referees for this and other higher education journals.
- She is an active member of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE). She is an Honorary Member of Alpha Sigma NU, the National Jesuit Honor Society.
