John Snodgrass has worked in higher education for 28 years including 22 years as a Registrar.
- John was a member of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officer (AACRAO) Federal Compliance Committee from 2002-2005, and was Chairman of the Committee in 2004-2005. He has been a regular presenter for AACRAO since 2002 on the topic of FERPA in Higher Education.
- He has also a regular presenter on FERPA for Colleges and Universities for the Pacific Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (PACRAO) since 2000 and for Oregon Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (OrACRAO) since 1997.
- John has led in-service training on FERPA for several universities, organizations, and conferences around the United States.
