About The Speaker
Catrillia "Cat" Young is the Director of Global Pathways at Pace University in New York City.
Cat works closely with university faculty and administrators to oversee student support services, including orientation and retention. She also collaborates with colleagues in Kaplan's Global Pathways team around the world to increase the number of international students joining the program.
Young previously worked at SUNY Plattsburgh, as the associate director for international admissions. She has also worked at the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA as the assistant director for international recruitment. Along with recruitment and orientation, she was also responsible for basic immigration and academic advising for international students.
Cat attended Ripon College in Wisconsin where she earned a BA in French and global studies. She earned her MA in French Civilization at Middlebury College in Vermont and Paris, France.
